Algonac Community Theatre (ACT) was formed in 1980 and became a 501-c-3 non-profit organization in November 7, 2003. The group produced 46 plays thru 2003, and continues to present wonderful productions such as these:

2005: "Lie, Cheat and Genuflect" / "Opal's Husband"
2006: "Death By Arrangement" / "The Wizard of Oz"
2007: "Harvey" / "Li'l Abner"
2008: "You Can't Take It With You" / "Oliver!"
2009: "The Odd Couple"/ "A Christmas Story" (Dec)
2010: "Bye, Bye, Birdie" (March)
ACT also presents "Theatre on the River", which is an annual summer production in the Algonac riverside park and is free for all. Skits, one-acts and Comedy Improv are presented. The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 19, 2010, 7:00 pm., at the gazebo in Riverfront
